FAQs - General Inquiry
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code is Formal attire. We dedicated a whole page to help you find inspiration for the big day. This can be found here.
Are children welcome?
While we would love to have everyone at the wedding, the space at Antonio’s is limited. With that in mind, only guests on your invitations can attend.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
The menu at Antonio’s is rotating and seasonal. To not affect the service flow, there is one menu for everyone. They are able to arrange a special menu for guests with dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance on your RSVP.
Are there any events happening before the wedding?
Yes!
May 4th - Maria’s parents will host a Despedida de Soltera (Bridal Farewell Party) in Makati. We welcome all to attend. Please plan your travel accordingly if you intend to make it and reach out to us as soon as possible. RSVP HERE.
Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?
If you have any questions please feel free to email us at zaframariajustin@gmail.com!
FAQs - Traveling from Abroad
What day and time should we arrive?
We would love for everyone to attend all the events prior to the wedding. In order to make it all, it is best to arrive on May 3rd Saturday morning, the latest, so that you are able to adjust to the 12 hour time difference.
How should we handle transportation between the airport and hotel as well as transportation to Tagaytay?
For Arrival on May 4th or May 5th:
If you are arriving on Sunday May 4th or Monday May 5th, transportation can be provided from the hotel to pick you up. Before coming to the Philippines we strongly advise downloading the Grab app (Uber equivalent in the Philippines) to bring you to your destination. If neither of those accommodations are possible, please share with us the details of your flight so that we can help with your transportation needs.
For those coming from abroad that need assistance heading to their lodging in Tagaytay, transportation will be available if needed. The forthcoming schedule will be updated as we get closer to the event as these details will be finalized three months before the wedding.
Arrival before May 4th:
If you are arriving before May 4th, please share with us your flight details and we can connect with you prior to other obligations preceding the event. We highly suggest joining us and others as they arrive for Maria’s Despedida de Soltera on May 4th and we will be providing transportation at Makati Shangri-La to the event.
How should we handle currency exchange prior to arrival?
Prior to arrival, we highly recommend contacting your bank if Philippine Pesos (PHP) is available. There is a currency exchange within the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL), as well, if any legal tender currency is needed on your journey.
Once I’m in the Philippines, how do I stay connected with the both of you and get reminders, updates, or ask questions about the wedding ?
All reminders, updates, and questions can be handled through our Telegram Group Chat! Join the group by clicking Hernandez - Zafra Wedding. It’s the easiest way to stay informed and connected during your trip.
